Digital Pulse TEST Sept. This is a live article on ven.com.au.
Around 15 to 16 September 2026 Meta launched its unified Creator Marketing Hub globally. It pulls creator discovery and Partnership Ads workflows into one surface, instead of leaving brands to jump between separate tools.
Separately, Live video ads expand from Facebook to Instagram, with general availability beginning 29 September 2026. Brands can amplify a creator's Instagram Live as a Partnership Ad.
What the Hub adds
For mid-market brands, the practical changes are in the workflow:
- Richer discovery filters, so you can narrow creators and content before you brief anyone.
- Objective-based content recommendations, tied to what the campaign is meant to do.
- One-click ad creation from a listing, which shortens the path from finding a post to boosting it.
- Content-level permissions with an expiry, so a boost window does not quietly outlast the rights you agreed.
- In-hub partnership messaging, so outreach can start where you found the creator.
- API expansions, including Facebook creators in the Creator Marketplace API, alongside Instagram.
Meta has said the wider set of updates continues through the rest of 2026. You may not see every control in your account on day one.
Instagram Live ads
Live video ads were already available on Facebook. From 29 September they start to open on Instagram. The use is specific: you sponsor a creator's live session and run it as a Partnership Ad, so the reach is not limited to whoever happened to be watching at the time.
That suits a launch, a drop, or an event more than a standing always-on campaign. Static Reels can still carry the everyday work. Live is the extra format when the moment itself is the message.
Before you book a live slot, confirm the creator has granted ad permission that covers live content, and note when that permission expires. A listing you can see is not the same as a right to boost it.
What to do
- If creator or UGC ads are on the roadmap, open the Creator Marketing Hub and see which filters and listings your account actually has.
- Map content-level permission expiries before you set a boost window. A permission that ends mid-campaign is wasted spend.
- Test Instagram Live amplification for a launch or an event, rather than swapping your whole Reels plan over.
- Organic-only Meta accounts can skip this unless paid creator partnerships are planned.
If Ven runs your Meta ads
If Ven runs your Meta ads, Hub setup and Live tests sit with the paid social lead. Tell us if a launch date is fixed, so the permission and the live slot are sorted before the day.

Planning creator or Live ads?
We set up Partnership Ads and can test Instagram Live amplification around a real launch, not as a standing experiment with no date.
The bottom line
The Hub is worth opening if paid creator work is already on your roadmap. Instagram Live ads are worth a test when you have a moment people should see live. If your Meta presence is organic only, nothing here needs to change this week.
