Google's Gemini is rolling out a tool that drafts posts in your brand style

On 20 October Google added a business page to the Gemini app, aimed at small business owners.

You can give Gemini your website, logo, colours and fonts so it creates images and posts in your brand style. Google says it can also connect to Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Workspace and other apps such as Canva, Shopify, Wix and Xero. Google says it is rolling out to Gemini app users globally, so it may take a little while to show up for everyone in Australia.

In Google's announcement, one small business owner says it saves her two to three hours a day on product descriptions, newsletters and social posts.

A quick thing to try

Once it appears in your Gemini app, open it, add your logo and brand colours, and ask it for one social post about a current offer. Before you publish, have someone check the facts, prices and tone. AI drafts fast, but it can still get details wrong.

How Ven can help

We can set up your brand kit properly, build a simple process for AI-assisted content, and keep a human check on everything before it goes out. If you'd like a hand putting AI to work in your marketing, get in touch.

Also this week: Four in ten Australians now ask AI to help choose a brand and Kogan's AI assistant now answers "where's my order?".
