The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1+ year of experience in SEO who wants to grow their skills under the guidance of industry experts. You will work closely with our digital marketing, content, and development teams to improve search engine rankings, optimise websites, and gain hands-on experience with real-world SEO strategies.
At Ven, you’ll receive SEO training from experienced professionals and have the chance to work with Australian clients across various industries. You’ll also be part of an international team, collaborating with digital marketing specialists, designers, and developers from both Vietnam and Australia. Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase our organic search traffic and rankings.
- Optimise website content including blog posts, landing pages, and product pages for search engines and users alike.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance, using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console and SEO software.
- Work closely with content, product, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of our clients’ digital presence.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes and best practices.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Build and maintain high-quality backlinks.
- Track and report on key SEO metrics, including traffic, rankings and conversions.
- Build SEO dashboard reports with Looker Studio and Powerpoint
Who we are looking for
- 1+ year of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO concepts.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
- Understanding of keyword research and content optimisation.
- Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, or WordPress is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the latest SEO trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a team environment.
